2012 Short Course Meters Championships

Registration for the NE-LMSC Short Course Meters Championship meet is now open at http://scmchamps.blogspot.com/. USMS membership required. To compete as part of the BC Masters team (points/relay), remember to select NEM as your club and BC as your workout group when joining/renewing USMS. Entries close December 3. Let me know if you need any help with seed times. Even if you aren't swimming, come cheer on the team!

Hope everyone got the message around 10:30 last night that the school is closed today.

Meet Results

Congratulations to Claudio who swam his first meet in ? years. The 200 free was his best event (also 50, 100 and 400), he even split for a 2:20.6. And he graciously jumped on two relays of assorted swimmers to help them out. Great debut! Next up is Concord on October 28. (Your coach also managed to finish her 50, 100 and 400 free events while you were all sleeping.)

We're Back!

OK, Mindy wants to know why everyone isn't back in the pool! We are now swimming Mondays 6:05-7:05 am and 6:00-7:00 pm, Tuesdays 6:05-7:05 am, Wednesdays 6:05-7:05 am and 6:00-7:00 pm, and Thursdays 6:05-7:05 am. New hours and new coaches, Jacki Hirsty, Caity Fee and Margaret Howe. Come see how much fun we are having before waking up!
