Thanks Jacki. Well the World's was a great experience. Race day was sunny but very cold, 45 degrees and the water temp dropped to 57. They decided to cut the swim distance in half, which hurt me given this is my strongest leg. My initial goal was Top 15, new goal was Top 30 with swim cut. I finished 31st. Came in 2nd on the swim, 12th on the bike and then the great runners reeled me in on the run. Still had a great time. 2014 Worlds are in Edmonton and this time I qualified for both the Sprint and Olympic distances. The BC Masters program helped my swim leg this year enabling a 11th place finish at the US Nationals. Thanks to Jacki and Coaches, I look forward to training again at BC this offseason.
